the dab was boldly moved from Geothermal to its current title way back in 2009 (Special:Diff/293256748). Longstanding title, sure, but policy has changed so much since then
. If you look at the diff, there was only one entry called just "geothermal", Geothermal (geology), which was then merged into Geothermal gradient. That is clearly no longer the case.
