Oi! why no image of both geo-mag poles?

[edit]

The image on the right side could have both, or there could be 2 images with both sets of poles with the south geo-mag relative to the other 2, as well. Hmmph! typical. 120.18.62.115 (talk) 20:00, 20 July 2023 (UTC)Reply

Geomagnetic and magnetic poles

[edit]

The article shows a map with both the Geomagnetic and Magnetic poles, and also contrasts these by mentioning that the latter are not antipodal. However it does not define the Magnetic pole. The article linked to by the word Magnetic pole (which is the Earth's magnetic field article) also does not define it, and indeed appears to use the term Magnetic pole to refer to the Geomagnetic pole. Perhaps a brief definition of Magnetic pole can be given here. Ordinary Person (talk) 23:35, 2 January 2025 (UTC)Reply
