Books

[edit]

The British Library catalogue lists a lot more books by him - see catalogue entries: the first 25 look as if they are his (though not sure about "Scouts in Bondage"!). PamD 13:33, 14 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

No, clearly a nice wholesome book in those far-off days: see here where one copy has a "Colourful Salvation Army presentation plate dated 20/1/36". The bookseller does say " A book probably best known for it colorful title, the meaning of which has clearly changed with time."! PamD 13:39, 14 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
And then I found the book it had inspired, and couldn't resist including this in the article. PamD 14:11, 14 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for the information; I see there are quite a few works by him. Swampyank (talk) 22:18, 14 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
