Geno smith

[edit]

Eugene Cyril "Geno" Smith III[1] (born October 10, 1990) is an American football quarterback for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at West Virginia, leading the Mountaineers to multiple bowl games, breaking numerous passing records, and garnering multiple awards before getting drafted by the New York Jets in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft. After two inconsistent seasons as the Jets' starting quarterback, Smith eventually lost his starting position due to injuries in his final two years with the team. He has also spent time as the backup for the New York Giants, Los Angeles Chargers and Seattle Seahawks before re-emerging as the Seahawks' starting quarterback in 2022. 2600:6C4A:4B7F:DD96:3972:3FE1:7403:F75A (talk) 22:07, 4 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

He has been married to Hayley Eastham, whom he met in college, since 2015.

Geno Smith is not married to Haley Eastham. Geneo Grissom is Haley’a husband. A simply google and instagram will show you this. 2600:1700:8CE0:1DB0:85F9:BA95:3813:8651 (talk) 13:03, 7 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

His trade is official

[edit]

NFL has broken the story. His team needs changed and not reverted. Cramerwiki (talk) 00:11, 8 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

Per the sports transactions template, breaking news reports may be unreliable in the case that the trade falls through before it becomes official (when announced by either team). Also, the new league year does not begin until March 12, so the trade legitimately will not be official until then. See the articles for Deebo Samuel and Christian Kirk for similar cases. Yeah is there a talk page to change that rule because that’s extremely ridiculous. Cramerwiki (talk) 02:18, 9 March 2025 (UTC)Reply
This is ridiculous lol, why is Wikipedia so stubborn? This is why I avoid it at all costs. The dude was traded...figure it out Wikipedia *facepalm* 142.179.108.215 (talk) 22:01, 11 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

On March 12, 2025 at midnight, change Smith's team to the Las Vegas Raiders. 2601:58C:C200:5C40:B591:4418:671F:94C8 (talk) 04:19, 8 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

Not done - The trade between the Seattle Seahawks and the Las Vegas Raiders will not go through immediately at midnight. In the NFL, trades involving players before the legal tampering period cannot be officially finalized until the start of the new league year, which begins this year on March 12, 2025, at 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.
