Lead Section
[edit]I think that the lead section should be consolidated into one paragraph as per the convention of most articles. It serves as an introduction, so the information should be general enough so that one paragraph is cohesive enough to do so. Brainbowboy (talk) 15:56, 17 April 2015 (UTC)
Moving 3rd paragraph to Controversy section
[edit]This paragraph (Although GM sperm has the potential to detect and treat genetic diseases, it will likely take many years for successful use in patients. In a recent case, an American teenager successfully sued a sperm bank, because she had been born with fragile X syndrome) addresses the troubles with GM sperm and therefore belongs in the Controversy section. Elaboration on Applications section
[edit]Because "somatic cell modifications" does not have its own wikipedia article, elaborate on it so that the reader understands why somatic cell modifications are not passed down to offspring and therefore less serious. Justin Bai (talk) 16:09, 17 April 2015 (UTC)
