A few thoughts on how to make this article more complete
[edit]It seems like the article could benefit from a History section. A lot of the foundational work on genetic editing emerged in France, especially in the 1970s–1990s, and it might be worth anchoring the article with references from that period. One question would be whether some of the seminal theoretical publications (e.g. by the major French scholars in the field) have been translated into English, since this would make them more accessible to a wider readership. In addition, the article could be strengthened by elaborating on large-scale projects, especially where they intersect with digital humanities. For example, projects that use TEI encoding or digital manuscript repositories could illustrate how genetic editing is practiced today. Lex0023 (talk) 13:11, 17 September 2025 (UTC)
