I'm a bit confused by the way it defines a straight. "A straight is any combination of dice in order." So 1-1-1-1-2 or 2-3-4-6-6 is a straight, but 1-3-4-2-5 isn't? In that case, in what way is 1-2-3-4-6 or 1-1-3-4-5 a "variation" of the rule?

If it's been badly written and really just means 1-2-3-4-5 or 3-4-5-6-1 or any of the 4 other possibilities, then it still begs the question of order-sensitivity. If it's order-insensitive like Yahtzee or poker, then 1-2-3-4-6 is not a variation but within the scope of the basic rule. Otherwise, a variation is required to make 1-2-3-4-6 constitute a straight, but we could do with a clarification of order-sensitivity in the game as a whole. — Smjg (talk) 00:59, 11 May 2012 (UTC)
