Quoting study (citation)

[edit]

Citation 241 uses the phrase "rape myth" but does not define, nor does the abstract in the link. Might be helpful to give an example of how the authors of the study use the phrase. (ie https://psycnet.apa.org/doiLanding?doi=10.1037%2Ft05370-000) TroyNbr2 (talk) 15:25, 5 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Ref numbers change, as the article does. Presumably, you are talking about Lopez, Nomamiukor, Heinlein, & Wisco (2025)? If so, that citation is used in section § Gender Roles in Social Media and relies on a single, WP:PRIMARY source. That source, and everything dependent on it, should probably be removed from this article entirely, unless WP:SECONDARY sourcing can be found to back it up. Possible AI use

[edit]

Concerns were raised previously about AI-generated content in part of this article. This is a procedural talk page section to discuss it. There is no need to ping me in response. Read WP:AISIGNS for more information for why this is tagged; however, note that fixing the issue requires more than just removing the superficial signs. Gender Roles

[edit]

Gender roles, I would suggest looking into more about men and women, like the money aspects, and any gaps in the employment place. Gender roles is a very diverse topic that should focus on the advancements that were made between men and women — Ashaa26 (talk) 18:51, 12 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

Ashaa26, welcome to Wikipedia, and the Wikipedia education program. The article Talk page is dedicated to the improvement of the article. While suggestions and comments to that end are very welcome, this is not the place for general or vague comments on article quality or general reviews that are difficult to act upon. If you can redo your comments as specific suggestions, such as, "In section ABC change 'some before text' to 'this after text'", it might be possible to have a discussion about it. Thanks. Thank you @Mathglot! @Ashaa26, after reading Mathglot's message posted above, do you have any questions? Brianda (Wiki Ed) (talk) 22:19, 15 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
This is my first time using the platform for my psychology capstone. Ashaa26 (talk) 23:03, 15 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
Congrats on your first post-tutorial edit, and once again, welcome! Wikipedia is a volunteer project, so you never know if or when someone is going to respond, or who. If you scroll up to the shaded boxes at the top, you will find ten WikiProjects listed there, collapsed into a narrow title bar (in desktop view only; i.e., not on mobile). Click [show] to view them. If you follow the links to those WikiProjects, you may find more volunteer editors there to help you with questions or suggestions as well. Mathglot (talk) 00:39, 16 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
