Trivia

- In crossword puzzles, the definition "organ stop" almost always has as an answer the word "gedeckt" or "gedackt".
- The "cuc-koo" sound of a cuckoo clock is created by two tiny gedackt pipes in the clock, with bellows attached to their bottoms. The clocks mechanism activates the bellows to send a puff of air into each pipe alternately when the clock strikes.
I removed the whole Trivia section above from this article. The first bit of trivia is anecdotal. The second bit pertains to the cuckoo clock, thus I have moved it to that article. —Cor anglais 16 20:53, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
