Mass murder category

@Anonimu: according to this discussion, articles about war criminals do not belong in a mass murder category unless it is about someone who personally committed mass murder. Marcocapelle (talk) 16:19, 10 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

It's more complicated: Olteanu was not acting in any official capacity, he was just a vigilante, with the state preferring to look the other way until the Soviets intervened. Indeed, it's not clear if he did personally kill any of the ~40 civilians executed by his band.Anonimu (talk) 10:17, 11 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
