Pevsner

[edit]

What does "Pevsner" say about the building? (Or rather, I suppose, what do one or more among Kitty Cruft, John Dunbar and Richard Fawcett say?) -- Hoary (talk) 00:27, 8 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

A good point. I wondered as much as I was drafting the article. However, I don't have any of the Pevsner Scottish guides, and I don't believe that my local library holds any either. Hence, my reliance on the Historic Environment Scotland listing report and the County of Roxburgh book. Mac Edmunds (talk) 09:58, 8 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
@KJP1... You wouldn't happen to have the relevant Buildings of Scotland volume, would you? Mac Edmunds (talk) 17:42, 8 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
I do. Let me see what it says. KJP1 (talk) 18:36, 8 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
It actually has quite a lot. Is your email enabled on here? If so, I can send you a scan. KJP1 (talk) 20:01, 8 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for checking. I've just enabled my email for you. Mac Edmunds (talk) 20:10, 8 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
Information from the property's Pevsner entry now incorporated... thanks both. Mac Edmunds (talk) 20:51, 11 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
