[edit]One sentence from the Catalan I could not make sense of and have not translated. If anyone can translate this here, I will incorporate into the article: "En les erupcions modernes es reconeixen diferents fases que han estat situades totes dins el Quaternari mitjà." My rough (but obviously somehow wrong) translation would be "In the modern eruptions, one can see different phases, all of which are located within the Quaternary average." Either I'm missing something (likely: my Catalan isn't great) or this is very obscure (possible: the Catalan-language article is not great prose). -- Jmabel 07:22, 1 May 2004 (UTC)
While I'm at it, I've been having some trouble with the following paragraphs as well. Not being a geologist, there are probably a lot of terms here I don't really know in any language. If anyone can render these into English, great, otherwise I'll eventually put some real time into it.
- Pel que fa a les formes de relleu, a més dels cons volcànics de tipus strombolià, dels quals n'hi ha amb cràter central (Montsacopa, Santa Margarida), amb cràters laterals (Garrinada), constituïts per escòries petites i uniformes (Montsacopa) o per materials grossers (Montolivet, Croscat), hi ha taules de lava, posades en relleu per l'erosió fluvial diferencial, com a Castellfollit de la Roca o a Sant Joan les Fonts, on es pot veure la constitució interna consolidada en prismes allargats.
- Són abundants, al sector del Ser, les acumulacions de lapil·lis anomenades també grederes i, prop d'Olot, les formacions de laves poroses, consolidades en sectors d'aiguamolls, com en el bosc de Tosca.
