I'm nominating Game Boy Printer because it's an important part of Nintendo history, and the page is in need of serious attention.

Compatibility

[edit]

What is the GB printer compatible with?

The original gameboy/gameboy color format.--Mofomojo 12:22, 27 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
So it doesn't work with the GBA? (71.10.172.137 18:04, 28 October 2007 (UTC))Reply
It works with GBA but only with games supporting it. As far as i know there are no GBA games with printer support but you can use the original gameboy/gameboy color games —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.208.83.234 (talk) 14:32, 14 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

WTF?!?

[edit]

WTF?!? There is so much to say about GB printers, how come nobody is saying anything. I know i sound like a hypocrite, but i dont have the time, nor intellect. PAX Schafer

The fact of the matter is, with things like these, it's hard to remember stuff about a 10 year old fad. C. Pineda 22:44, 4 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Incorrect paper size math

[edit]

The Game Boy Printer paper section states that a 0.5 mm margin is used for 2.3 cm pictures, with a total of 3.3 cm per picture. This is incorrect, as written the total size should be 2.4 cm per picture, making the later statement about each roll only having enough space for 118 pictures also incorrect. Does anyone know if the correct margin size is 0.5 mm or 0.5 cm? Josh (talk) 18:35, 3 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Printer Paper

[edit]

It is still possible to get printer paper that fits perfectly and prints perfectly, from the company that originally made the paper. 6 * 1.5 = 9[citation needed] Superbeelavaman (talk) 09:37, 25 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

It appears the section this is in reference to has been removed during a "mass cleanup" of the page, along with some quite useful technical details that don't seem to be present in many places elsewhere. Superbeelavaman (talk) 04:22, 23 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
As I said on my talk page, those sections were not adequately sourced. Much of the sections had no sources, and the parts that did were largely sourced to wikis, blogs, Githubs, and other resources that would not pass muster per WP:VG/S. Thus, they were removed per Wikipedia policy. It is not our job to provide details that are not available elsewhere, especially when that information is based on original research. Unless this information is covered in sources deemed reliable by the Wikipedia community, these sections should not be re-added. If you still take issue with this, I suggest you raise the issue at the Wikiproject talk page where it was originally brought up. -- Cyberlink420 (talk) 04:27, 23 October 2025 (UTC)Reply
