General questions on sea cucumbers

what are the Sea Cucumber's perditors? How do humans impact their habitat? positively and negatively? What do they need to survive? What does their Ecosystem need to be healthy and sustain life? Who are their preditors? What is their ideal location in an intertidal zone? Why is it a good spot for them?

Anybody from Kaapstad will be in hysterics already. I can't explain this in less than five page to outsiders. Does anybody have a pronunciation for gamat? Is is Xamat, with a hard G as in loch?
