Galeas with three masts?
[edit]I would not call any three masted ship a galeas (in swedish or finnish), certainly not if it were ship rigged. I cannot see any mention of such in the sources given. Types of galeases.
[edit]There are two main types of galeases, the swedish galeas which is ketch rigged and the finnish version that is almost schooner rigged, however the difference between the finnish galeas and a schooner is that the schooner has the mainsail as the aftmost sail, and the galeases mainsail is what on a schooner would be the foresail, and is larger than the aftmost sail which on a galeas is the mizzen. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.232.121.190 (talk) 13:30, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
