Article cleanup and neutralization

[edit]

I’ve recently made a series of incremental edits aimed at improving the article’s neutrality and structure, in line with Wikipedia’s NPOV and BLP guidelines.

The changes focused on:

  • removing redundant or duplicative sections,
  • consolidating related material into the Career section for chronological clarity,
  • reducing profile-style or prestige-signaling language,
  • and fixing citation and reference errors.

No new claims were added; the intent was to simplify wording, reduce emphasis, and make the article read more like a standard encyclopedic biography rather than a narrative profile. Additional cleanup may follow, particularly around tone, but I wanted to note the rationale here for transparency and welcome any feedback. Liaobuqi (talk) 07:40, 10 February 2026 (UTC)Reply

Sourcing improvements and removal of BLP tag

[edit]

Added multiple independent sources (NYT, Reuters, FT, Economist) across all sections; removing BLP sourcing tag. Liaobuqi (talk) 19:30, 18 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
