Lead/infobox

• Is there a reason we are using WP:LEADCITE? Should remove them if its stated in the body.
• Adana before the Assyrian genocide comma after genocide
• he composed the first song in Surayt consider changing to "in the Surayt language". It would be more clear that way
• Inspired by nationalistic activities specify, assuming Assyrian but still

Early life

• Asaad was born in Midyat I think it would benefit to add Ottoman Empire afterwards.
• and then to Damascus in 1921. > "and then to the Syrian capital of Damascus in 1921." Just makes it clear for the next sentence to those who may not be familiar with the region
• inspiration from Syriac Orthodox hymns consider a comma after hyms

Career

• Asaad moved to Beirut > "Assad moved to the Lebanese capital of Beirut" Same as before, just makes it clear
• and six years later add the year afterwards if said?
• Consider specifying who Ignatius Aphrem I is on their first mention.

Personal life and death

• He moved to Sweden in 1979 where he would stay for the rest of his life. He died on July 6, 1997, at the age of 90. feels like these two sentences could be merged.
• Rest seems good.

Legacy

• Seems good.

References

• ? Source 2 (Huyada) doesn't seem to mention any correlation with the Assyrian genocide. In fact it explicitly states that it was due to employment opportunities. Rest is good.
• Y Source 6 (Ishtar TV) checks out.
• Y Source 11 (Mesopotamian Night) checks out.
• Y Source 18 (syriacmusic), no clue how reliable this is but checks out.
• ? Source 13 (Lundberg) & 22 (abboudzeitoune) - 22 says that he was a pioneer so that checks out, but it doesn't look like either of them specify the 1930s or 40s. I would also consider rephrasing that to something like "he is considered" or specifying who made those comments, as "he is remembered" feels a bit weird to me.

I made the rest of the changes. For the images, I cannot confirm when the first one was published and the original source no longer provides access to it. However I found the original source for the second image and it was published sometime in the 60s, making it public domain as far as Syrian copyright standards go.
