A bit promotional

This article is heavy on the promotional language and tech press stenography. The reporting is just repeating Greg Brockman making wild claims. Has anyone kicked the tyres on these company claims? - David Gerard (talk) 15:15, 4 September 2026 (UTC)

First, we are not declaring in Wiki voice that OpenAI has achieved AGI with GPT-6, but merely reporting about Brockman's claims. Second, the way a company markets a product is directly contextually relevant for understanding the people's expectations and resulting reactions, and avoiding to mention it because we don't have confidence in our readers understanding how PR works would be extremely patronizing and border on suppressing information. Third: Whether the company's claims are "wild" or not is yet to be seen.
