Congratulations!

I award this article TWO -- that's right, TWO "Useless Use of Cat" awards! Congratulations all who worked so hard for this honor! Would you like me to repair these perceived problems? Elizium23 (talk) 23:12, 26 January 2021 (UTC)Reply

You mean your < list parallel do_something, which persisted a couple of years there, despite being ~somewhat unusual variant of parallel do_something < list … —mykhal (talk) 16:07, 11 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

article needs to be stubbed

[edit]

The issue of primary sources, raised back in 2015, has still not been addressed. This is not a software manual, and the detailed discussion of usage etc is not appropriate here unless covered in secondary sources. I suggest removing the sections on usage and examples entirely, leaving just the brief introduction and the info box. The article could later be expanded based on secondary source material. There are clearly a number of books that make reference to GNU Parallel, based on a Google Scholar search, which could be used for that purpose.

Any opinions on this please? Dani di Neudo (talk) 17:28, 12 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
