I'm glad the article has these student reactions but even more important is to eventually get information about Knight's opinions as a critic. Especially about Shakespeare.Rich (talk) 05:53, 17 February 2025 (UTC)Reply

Quite. The opinions of a couple of undergraduates aren't worth this much. I knew Richard (as friends called him) well as a research assistant for him in 1969-70. One of the sanest people I've ever encountered, IMO. I've removed that paragraph as substandard material. A biography by John E. van Domelen is referred to but barely used.
