The article claims in a number of places that Marinetti's 1914 visit to Russia was disrupted because artists and activists objected to his fascism. Surely this is anachronistic? The term "fascism" was not even coined until 1915, and Marinetti apparently did not become a fascist until 1919. The claims in this article are unsourced, and I propose to delete them in a few days unless someone can provide a reliable source for this. RolandR (talk)12:56, 6 March 2025 (UTC)Reply
Agreed, in fact Vladimir Lenin is said to have said to an Italian communist (Sometime between 1919 and 1921): "You socialists are not revolutionaries. In Italy, there are only three men who can make the revolution: Mussolini, D'Annunzio, and Marinetti", which is clearly referring to them after the Fiume endeavour AND the formation of the early Fascist movement before the formation of the National Fascist Party.
