Thanks for the sources, but what parts of those 3 articles are relevant?

At least in the abstracts there was no mention of human dosing / milligrams.

Removing excessive conjecture and outdated sources

Before Special:Diff/1310475706, the article had been populated with extensive promotion of unproven health effects speculated from lab studies or early-stage, inconclusive human research. No WP:MEDRS sources exist to support any of these claims.

Two reviews by Fitton et al. are cited, although the 2015 and 2019 reports are a concern because a) the journal, Marine Drugs, is an MDPI publication suspected of being predatory (predatory journals are unacceptable as Wikipedia medical sources); b) authors Fitton and colleagues are employees of Marinova Pty Ltd. (Australia), a biotechnology company selling fucoidan products - the extent of conflict of interest existing in previous versions of the article is unknown, but use of these reports as sources can be seen as promotional for Marinova, WP:PROMO; and c) there are no reliable WP:MEDASSESS sources used in any of the Fitton publications specifically, nor are there any MEDRS sources available for this article.

I agree with this. There is a serious lack of MEDRS sources regarding Fucoidan and health effects so we should leave any such claims off the article. Veg Historian (talk) 17:59, 11 September 2025 (UTC)
