Proposed merger

[edit]

I think the content from these two artisan sensibly be brought together into a single article. The proliferation of articles about closely related topics is not in the interests of our readers. Neither of the current articles seems likely to expand much more, and there is considerable overlap. Mccapra (talk) 13:25, 16 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hello! I see your concerns, however, i Think the Sinking of the Flensborg, deserves its own article, because of the effects it had for the future of the Company. I Can add more information ti the sinking article if needed? Tinkaer1991 (talk) 21:44, 16 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
User:Mccapra, what do you think? Tinkaer1991 (talk) 07:25, 20 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Go ahead if you want to do more work on the sinking article. It may take time for a consensus to emerge in a possible merger. Mccapra (talk) 20:37, 20 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Support merge; this is unwarranted split in the contents; the combined article is unlikely to reach the point of being WP:TOOLONG. If the article does reach 100k it easily be split. So, merge for context. Klbrain (talk) 15:19, 6 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
Given that several months on there hasn't been a significant expansion,   checkY Merge completed Klbrain (talk) 10:32, 23 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Shouldnt the "frigate flensburg" article be the one which gets merged into "Sinking of the Flensburg"? Given that the Sinking of the vessel is way more known and notible than the frigate itself. Tinkaer1991 (talk) 12:25, 23 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
