A French Twist is not the same thing as a French Braid.

Tresse française ?

North African origins
[edit]The book cited as the source of the "north african origins" of the French Braid is by the same guy who came up with the Olmec Civilization hypothesis that Africans traveled all the way to MesoAmerica and settled there based purely on wild speculation from the faces of statues.
