Manmohan Singh

NEW DELHI, April 19 (Bernama) -- Amidst increasing criticism by the Left parties against the free market forces in the wake of price rise, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Friday said that his government has followed the 'hands-off' policies and will remain committed to liberalisation.

"We remain committed to economic reform and liberalisation. In ancient India, a monarch was regarded as a good king if he did not interfere too much in the life of the people. Potential copyright violations

I have declined the G12 speedy deletion for this as this link very clearly has copied the wikipeida page. I stongly suspect it's the same case with this one as it was posted in July 2011 and the majority of the text in our article is present in the original version in 2008. If anyone still has concerns I suggest using {{subst:copyvio|url=insert URL here}} and posting at Wikipedia:Copyright problems. Sarahj2107 (talk) 13:28, 19 October 2016 (UTC)

Censorship mention in lede

This addition is well-sourced by three reliable sources. Perhaps it should be re-worded and not be in the lede, but the content is well-sourced.
Any utterance about the government is duly removed through regressive legal practices or trolled in social media through paid members of BJP IT Cell.

Also, I don't think it's relevant in the lead. There's nothing to suggest in your cited sources or otherwise that the curtailment of FoE is a recent phenomenon. It looks better suited at Freedom_of_expression_in_India#Practical_constraints_and_curtailments. Crawford88 (talk) 12:29, 25 October 2017 (UTC)
