I believe the accusation that this is a "personal or opinion piece" is incorrect, as it seems that this article was written about an essay, as an essay. Allow me to elaborate. As per Wikipedia, and per dictionary, an essay is defined as a persuasive (Wikipedia states an essay is vaguely defined) argument (argument used in loose terms here) with the own personal flair of the author. Maybe to someone inexperienced this seems like not the type of thing to put on Wikipedia, but if you've read a written encyclopedia, they are full of biases. Not necessarily opinions, but biases.

In order for Wikipedia to be seen as a valid encyclopedia, we must recognize that, if were to want Wikipedia to remain open source, we must allow people to show some bias in their writing, it is human nature, you can't deny that.

I propose that the section where the page gives advice on the best type of essay question is the section which most needs review or elimination. It seems likely this is the section that is "biased."
