The website is essentially defunct, with the last post having been made in 2021. Freeing Keiko (orca) cost around US$20 million. He was released 2002 when the annual costs of keeping the animal, which amounted to US$3 million, could no longer be covered by donations. Keiko survived for only one and a half years in freedom.
