Who is Vernon?

He wasn't friends with him and wasn't a work colleague for example, so no need to mention anywhere apart from lede and single mention in para. scope_creepTalk 13:09, 15 July 2024 (UTC)

- Hi @2A02:C7C:C4CD:A500:5159:11A1:EBD2:14B5:, I don't know. There wasn't much more information than what is in the article. Often they come into the limelight, for several years when they are interacting with folk on something and it makes then notable with plenty of coverage for that period and then they slip back into obscurity, for the same reasons. They are no longer doing anything that makes them standout. Generally in these situations, a few years go past, and either somebody who has worked with them, or potentially his family or even descendants come in and update the article with new information. I've seen that more a few times on folk who were involved in the second world war. They get 5 or 10 years after the war, and then obscurity and the descendant comes in and updates it. [edit]Personal life has him marrying in 1935, but elsewhere we read that in 1932 he and his wife visited the USSR.
