Edit Conflicts

I've created this page a few minutes ago and I am still writing and getting an edit conflict because someone is trying to counter-edit the page at the same time as I create it. These kind of edit wars shouldn't happen, it's rather like being side-swiped by an angry motorist. I've created the page in good faith and with content which was deemed notable on its original pages but needed to be moved here because it was mistakenly placed on a Los Angeles page and the bands/musicians mentioned were not from there. I would appreciate it if other editors would at least wait until I take a break from this before they make changes to it. Yes, I know, like all new pages it can be improved. Certainly put a "can be improved" notice on the top of it, but not while I'm still creating it. I'm going to go to bed for the night now. I'll see tomorrow what else is needed. refimprove

Having rescued these bits from the "Los Angeles Freak Scene" page I realise that there were a lot of musicians who identified with the term "freak" and adding those artists to this page, along with supporting citations, is going to take a while. So please help if you can. The topic crosses over with things like "Underground Bands" and "Counterculture Musicians" or whatever. Perhaps there's another way to do it? Merge with something else?
