English titles?

[edit]

Buzzlightyear (creator of this stub): Worldcat has no record of Schöppe's book Master of the Camera. How they became and how they work. And this isn't so surprising, considering that (i) the author, subjects and publication are presented as all German; and (ii) people become predicative complement, they don't become null.

Worldcat does have a record (OCLC 5140098) for Meister der Kamera erzählen. Wie sie wurden und wie sie arbeiten. My German is almost non-existent, but if I needed a translation of that title I'd start by (mis)translating it as "Masters of the camera speak: How they develop and how they work" but I'd then run this past somebody more competent than myself. And then I'd retain the German-language title anyway, because a book's title is its title and not an imagined translation thereof.

Ditto for the other titles.
