Per WP:OWN, this page can't be summarily deleted by the page creator. You could apply a WP:PROD and wait 7 days, and if that doesn't cause deletion, you could nominate the page at AFD. If you're the page creator, I'd suggest the PROD, because often the prod is removed by the page creators. BusterD (talk) 23:41, 7 January 2025 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. I don't know how to apply a Prod. Also, being the creator of the page that refers/is about me personally, it is within my right to have access to remove my personal information which i created myself for data protection. I see the proposed deletion is applied. Now you wait a week. If nobody squawks, the prod will expire and the page will get deleted. If anybody removes the prod (which anyone can do), then we have to pursue WP:AFD. I suspect you'll be fine with the prod, but I'm not going to make promises. If anybody wonders why I'm helping this account, apparently created to put this BLP subject in pagespace, here's my rationale: no reliable sources have been produced or easily found during my reasonable BEFORE search of English-language sources; as page creator, I'm assuming good faith they are who they claim to be. While I was forced by policy to decline the G7, I'm quite sympathetic for a BLP subject who doesn't now desire a self-created article about them, especially if it fails our more contemporary WP:SPORTSPERSON standard. I wouldn't wish a BLP on my worst enemy (if such I had). I'm hopeful this collegial message might discourage likely prod removers, but would be happy to make these arguments at AfD if I must.
