My motivations been damn rough lately, apologies. Without further ado... λ NegativeMP1 21:44, 19 April 2026 (UTC)

Prose

• "He serves as the leader of the Star Fox team, undertaking missions alongside his wingmates" is wingmates a word?
• In every Melee tier list I can recall, Fox has been considered the best character. I'm not sure if any sources reflect this or if it'd be proper wikivoice to say a character is definitively the best, but it should be noted.
• The first mention of the Star Fox series in the article body should be linked
• I would add wikilinks for the other mentioned Star Fox characters even if they're redirects to a list
• We're mentioning Andross a lot here, it should probably be clarified who/what he is.
• "During development of the original game, Fox's design remained more or less unchanged. Though initially members of the army of the planet that appears in game, they were eventually made into members of a mercenary unit after Miyamoto's suggestion to make the team members "outlaws"" I don't know how to properly explain it, but the structure of this sentence confuses me.
• "For Adventures, due to the game's development, which resulted in concepts of Adventures being merged with the scrapped game Dinosaur Planet, the game was designed around Fox fighting outside of his ship, with Imamura greatly wanting him to use a gun. Eventually, the team landed on using a staff taken from Krystal as Fox's main weapon, as Dinosaur Planet's gameplay system meant that this gameplay system would control better" I think this could also be refactored. That first sentence runs on for a while.
• " as the game lacks few high level competitive characters" what?

Media

• There are two images here: one is the artwork for the character itself, and the other is a free use image. The character artwork is obviously justified, and the free use image seems relevant for inclusion.

Sourcing

• Spotchecked certain uses of the references 1, 19, 22, 48, 59 and 60. All seem to verify the text they are attached to.

Final comments

Article overall looks solid, but there's just a couple of touch ups that I think are needed. I'll put this on hold for now. And, again, sorry for the delay that this took... λ NegativeMP1 21:44, 19 April 2026 (UTC)
