Wingspan

I've got a strong suspicion that the span of 34' 6" given by Aj Jackson is a misprint which should read 31' 6". Two reasons:

• • a) Jane's AWA 1938 says the latter. They are not infallible, especially on metric conversions, but pretty sound;
  • b) if you measure up the g/a diagram in Jackson, you get a span to length ratio of about 1.35. The ratio of the shorter span above to the length, 23' 3" on which all agree is 1.355, but for the longer span is 1.48, well outside the measurement errors.
