Why a separate article?
[edit]Why is this a separate article from Fort Jay? Shouldn't this just be a redirect to a merged article, which would mention that it was known by different names at different times? - Jmabel | Talk 04:23, 1 December 2014 (UTC)
Proposed merge into Fort Jay
[edit]Since they are about the exact same fort, I am proposing to merge this article into Fort Jay. Discussion is welcome. RobDuch (talk) 21:31, 16 April 2017 (UTC)
- Seconded. Same place, same thing, different name? Nahhh. Merging will make upkeep easier, avoid an POV /content fork, and eliminate duplication between two articles. At least a third of the combined articles are redundant. Anmccaff (talk) 02:06, 17 April 2017 (UTC)
