With the interest in Alternative Energy these days, why is this series not resurrected; perhaps on a professional level? This would generate interest in and attention to battery electric vehicles, as well as attracting revenue toward development. Since the introduction of the automobile, racing has been used to explore the limitations of technology and develop new innovations in the industry. The Internal Combustion Engine has been pushed about as far as it can be.
