This article seems to be a inferior duplicate of Formative assessment. This should be deleted and incorporated (if needed) into the formative assessment article.

I agree the existing article wasnt great and did overlap with the Assessment, but Formative Evaluation exists as a term in its own right and has been used in contexts beyond education for a long time (see for instance Guba & Licoln (1981) Effective Evaluation). So I would propose that the article is restored - but that there should be a clear link to Formative assessment --Spartakan (talk) 18:06, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
