Why was the link to Wikipedia:Formatting removed? Don't you think some users would come here looking for how to format a page on Wikipedia? Corky842 19:15, 25 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Section titles

[edit]

I moved The Format to a new "Title" section because it's a little confusing when titles are mixed in with definitive words. I changed "Computing" to "Computing and digital media" because computers are commonly associated with personal computers and often disassociated with ubiquitous computing devices that use the same digital formats. I moved "Electronics" to "Telecommunications and signal processing" because they are more specific to the items listed in that category and also considering that items listed in the other categories could fall under "electronics". Formatting as the opposite on parsing

[edit]

Formatting redirect to format.

One of the meaning in computer science of formatting is the opposite of parsing : converting a data structure to an output. I thing the page should indicate that meaning and links to revelant info.  Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.47.245.252 (talk) 22:35, 9 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
