Form genus / organ genus - there is an excellent article giving the history of formal designation of form classifications in plant taxonomy at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:CCleal/my_sandbox2 - can this be included/brought into this less satisfactory article which does not include the definitive references to accepted nomenclature rules? Nonbreaking hyphens

[edit]

In the section "In botany" there are several suffixes listed that become separated from their leading hyphen at line breaks. Isn't there a way to prevent this?--User:Khajidha (talk) (contributions) 02:22, 26 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

@Khajidha: interesting, because however narrow I make the window, this never happens with my setup. Try putting one that breaks in {{Nowrap}} and see if this makes a difference. Peter coxhead (talk) 13:23, 26 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
That fixed it. For reference, I am using the V10 legacy skin in desktop view on my samsung galaxy s20.--User:Khajidha (talk) (contributions) 21:14, 26 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
