Took this from the main page because the first part makes no sense and the second part has nothing to do with the disambiguation page.

• Forfeit is the return of property someones belonging or in return for a bad happening as part of a contractual or legal transgression

• Several recycling schemes require a deposit payment for an item, but this sum is returned with the item is returned. Such systems are in use for pallets, bottles, cans, shopping carts and similar packaging items.
