Incorrect Info Regarding Iranian-Egyptian Relations
[edit]This article says "Diplomatic relations [between Iran and Egypt were] severed 30 April 1979", but the article on Egypt–Iran relations states diplomatic relations were re-established in 2012. I think the field may need to be updated, as it seems to be currently incorrect. Avereo (talk) 02:29, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
Reputation Ranking
[edit]The article references a study done on the “reputation” of the 55 largest states by gdp. It presents the findings of the study as a representation of the global perception of Iran. Because this study was performed almost exclusively in NATO or NATO aligned countries, I don’t believe it is accurate or reasonable to present it this way. UAE suspends ties with Iran, March 2026.
[edit]"Relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) were officially severed in March 2026, ending a period of transactional engagement defined by proximity and long-standing territorial disputes." This is the quote from the Wiki page on Iran-UAE relations. The page here should reflect this. Defrancerobert110110 (talk) 18:53, 4 May 2026 (UTC)
- Not done. I checked Iran–United Arab Emirates relations and the sentence had been removed. Motivation: Closing embassies is not the same as ending diplomatic relations.
