Criticisms of the Food Standards Agency

[edit]

There have been several documentaries from the BBC highlighting some of the poor standards upheld by the food standards agency. Such as allowing 'so called' meat products to be produced and marketed as "Economy" containing large quantities of MRM (Mechanically Recover Meat), offal and very little prime cut meat yet not making this clearly labelled to the consumer. So should there been a new section added to the article under the heading of: Criticisms of the Food Standards Agency. - 03.11.09
