The source for this Wikipedia entry was "Temperance Movement Groups and Leaders in the U.S.," from which the material in bold was taken. Omission of the source reference has now ben corrected.David Justin 17:30, 28 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

The Flying Squadron of America was a temperance organization that staged a nationwide campaign tp promote the temperance movement in the U.S. It consisted of three groups of revivalist-like speakers who toured cities across the country between September 30, 1914 and June 6, 1915. The Squadron, organized by former Indiana Governor J. Frank Hanly, was sometimes called Hanly's Flying Squadron.
