[edit]

The contributions to this article were not written by the subject of the article I am not affiliated with the subject in any professional capacity, and have never received any sort of compensation from the subject except for a thank you for the donation of my personally authored works and images for use on both Wikipedia and the subject’s website. For over 30 years, I have been an amateur timekeeping historian, even though my words and images have been copied and utilized in numerous publications, both in print and on the web. The assumption that I am closely affiliated with the subject of the article is understandable due to my unusual level of knowledge and enthusiasm with the subject, and I greatly appreciate the concern of others for maintaining the quality and integrity of Wikipedia. With this said, I wish to remove the COI tag from this article.

For anyone wondering why the editor accused of COI has removed the tag, I added the tag and endorse the removal. See discussion at Talk:Gallet & Co.. Rees11 (talk) 22:24, 28 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
