General: Article is new enough and long enough

Policy compliance:

Hook eligibility:

  • Cited: No - The source technically says "As of Wednesday, however, the 1.7-mile segment was the only portion of the regional Gulf Coast Parkway designed", which rounds up to about 2 miles, so I guess this is fine.
  • Interesting: Yes
QPQ: Done.

Slightly Pedantic Unit Conversion Question

[edit]

2 miles is 3.2 km but should 'about 3 miles' be converted to 'about 3.2 km' or should it be 'about 3 km'? The source says the road is 1.7 miles long which is definitely about 2 miles but is only 2.7 km which I would not say is about 3.2. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Flapjack06 (talk • contribs) 22:28, 11 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

It uses {{convert}} - 2.7 is 0.5 from 3.2 so I would still say that's "about". - The Bushranger One ping only 23:34, 11 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
