The Forest Service manages over a million acres and has a unique history worthy of its own page. At the time of creation the only thing you can read about the FFS is on the Florida state forests page, which is quite little. Going forward, the Florida state forest page will be spun off into a list page and this page will contain all the history about the service.
Former forests and potential future forest acquisitions will live here instead of the main list. This page will also cover directors, budget, management, and anything else about the FFS. 🌴Operator 16 (talk) 13:14, 24 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
