http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Linnaeus states that the grant came from the Royal Society of Sciences in Uppsala, but http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flora_Lapponica says it came from the Swedish Royal Academy, which wasn´t even founded until many years afte his expedition.
