[edit]What's the difference between "flipped" and "flopped"? The article even claims "flipped" is used incorrecty to describe "flop". The postulated change of axis looks like nonsense; surely one would be swapping left for right and the other top for bottom? [edit]The descriptions are all good, but I've never come across "flopping" before and googling for it comes up with lots of other things, but not with mirroring. Is this either a made up term or specialist jargon? -- SGBailey (talk) 21:44, 28 September 2016 (UTC)

Image appropriateness
[edit]Seems important to isolate the variable of flopping in the pics used to illustrate it, but these pics include other techniques as well such as graphics editing and cropping. Any objection to changing the photos? Kaspar Hauser (talk) 09:43, 5 May 2026 (UTC)
