Note that the link for "Africa Squeaks" points to the Warner Bros. cartoon of the same name, a different animated short produced at a different time (9 years later) by a different studio. Lower case?

Videos of other shorts

Please upload the videos of the shorts from 1931 to 1933. The Media Expert (talk) 17:51, 14 March 2026 (UTC)

It has been unclear to me which are in the public domain. This article previously said something like "all the shorts are public domain" and now says The copyright on the majority of the Flip the Frog cartoons was not renewed, but I haven't seen a good enough secondary source confirming that (and in fact saw some saying that many were still under copyright), or clearly stating which was/was not renewed (outside of fiddlesticks). Thus I haven't felt comfortable uploading them under my account (effectively putting my name to the PD claim).

If/when it becomes more clear which are PD I'll upload them, and if worst comes to worst I'll be happy to upload all the 1931 ones next year; the 1932 in 2028; and so one (when it becomes imposable for them not to be PD). Otherwise there's nothing stopping you from uploading them (if you can prove there PD). I used the tool Commons:Video2commons which is pretty straight forward to use.
