I am new to this, so maybe I am missing something but why does a plot summary need citations?

The source is the film. This is an article about a film. The plot summary does not offer opinions or analysis. Seems like someone took the time to write a detailed yet not overly long plot summary. The Terminator's plot section for example has no sources or citations. This seems like a silly nitpick/doesn't make sense.
