Incorrect battle #

[edit]

The information in the article appears to be describing the third battle of Chattanooga, not the first. See this site. Please fix information. --brian0918™ 00:57, 24 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Needs more tweaking, but this should be the outline of the correct battle. big_hal 00:00, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Union victory ?

[edit]

Your Factbox says 'Result. Union victory' along with a cite. But the Union General (Negley) withdrew. The battle is viewed as a minor Confederate victory, though it demonstrated that Union troops could strike at will in Southeastern Tennessee. Valetude (talk) 17:05, 21 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
